Arf! Up YOURS, Johnny Frog.

Anyone else watching the Coronation? So they're making it sound like a funeral. Maybe this BBC woman is on mogadon.

Sour pusses, feel free to chime in.

a) you give your defective opinion as fact;
b) the metro's a bit boring, and that gives me the chance to read WHO.

Are you to thick to understand that I can enjoy Paris in general, without every single second being absolutely enthralling?

Re: "Part of the top of the Diamond Jubilee Coach was made from timber from HMS Victory"
Let me get this right, there's a poster on here at 11.30pm on Saturday night posting about how great PARIS is, rather than being here. Forgive me for stating the bleeding obvious, but two things:

1) Paris isn't great, at any time. It fucking stinks and is populated exclusively by cunts
2) Even if I ignore 1), it really isn't all that great if you're spending your time there posting on WHO, about something you profess to not be interested in

For someone who is on a perennial mission to prove themselves to be the smartest person on a football forum - for reasons known only to the poster - you're a bit dim, aren't you?

Swiss the your assumptions in that article are all based on estimates about productivity.

The tangible data (eg retail sales) all point to the positive impact. In the real world most businesses cover off 5 days work in the 4 days.

“ To make it even more complicated, CEBR said there was a difference between regular and special bank holidays as one-off events like the jubilee and royal wedding could create more tourism.”

Coverage of the concert on TV seemed to finish very quickly by the BBC, just click and it was gone..

Seemed sort of premature and rude to leave where there may have been an encore and the King was still there.

The news has been late before in the past because of big events, and this was one.

Perhaps the BBC have got more important obligations now as they try to rack in as much cash as they can.

This concert is an epic cringe fest of wokeness. I said I would watch it with my mother but don’t know if I can survive this shit

You don't actually have to take a Bank or public holiday off - you are quite free to work through it. In fact, the WFH expansion that came about as a result of Covid makes doing so even easier - one less thing to moan about.

I recon a few pints down the pub will most def equal a days trading in the city. Stands to reason innit?

I didn’t watch it either Kenzo, my angle is I think the alternative is far worse…..the Royals are educated from a young age to have power…..the alternatives gain power which results in those types of cunt being worse….you get rid of the royals and it will just move down a rung into the class system….

SOH - i hear what you say, i was just giving an example. Waving at crowds and cutting ribbon at events is not the same. Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one but most of them stink. I can only relate to personal events rather than what drivel is pushed out in the media and is followed by flocks of Sheep. Anyway, enjoy the rest of your Cornonation weekend chaps, i shall be getting stuck into Succession and Town Called Malice from tomorrow.

They all play a role (the main members) Kenzo, you just happen to like Harry’s role as do I, but to dislike the rest for a role they cannot have is a bit harsh…..Andrew had Harry’s role at one time and has gone on to fuck it up…

Lee you stupid cunt. See here

https://www.ns-businesshub.com/business/bank-holiday-economy-uk/

It's the UK economy as whole that suffers not just the banks

Unlike the dickheads on here who don't quote sources. Yes the benefits are around 1-1.5 bn. So do the fucking math.

I lost 2 mates both in Afghanistan one by a road side bomb the other by a sniper (seperate tours), 1 other lad in the same regiment as the first one i mentioned lost his left leg. Now im not a royalist probably because ive got no German or Greek blood running through my veins, but if there is any of the Royals i will acknowledge is Harry. He is probably one of the only Royals whom i respect, at least he gave a shit about fellow comrades and did so much for injured soldiers i.e. Invictus Games. The lad i referred to earlier is now competing in Paraplygic events thanks to him. The rest can go fuck themselves, oh and by the way im proud to be English and im not going to fuck off to Ireland.

I don't think you're calculation includes the benefits that come from this extra days holiday.

It's difficult to put a monetary figure on something like pissing you off, for example.

Sounds like you're bitter that the banks might have lost a few quid, Swiss? Fuck em I say. I won't be losing sleep.
